Your Family Tales

Cathy
has told tales across Asia and the U.S. since 1986, has studied Asian
storytelling with grants from The Japan and Korea Foundations, The Indian
Ministry of Culture, U.S.I.A., and has taught storytelling courses for
Singapore’s National Book Development Council, the U.S. State
Department, and Hannam University, Korea. Her storytelling research
is also shared through her 16 books, her cassette tapes, her new bilingual
CD with Japanese teller, Kazu Honda, and in over 40 articles, including
those for the Encyclopedia of Storytelling and the Encyclopedia of Modern
Asia. Cathy lives with sculptor husband, Paramasivam, in Washington
state and in Cholamandal, South India. |
